Answers to Frequent Questions:

1. Do you charge a consultation fee for estimates?
Yes - we currently charge a $20 consultation fee for job estimates; however, the fee also serves as a credit towards any work that we do for you as a result of the consultation.  We hope you agree that this nominal fee represents a tremendous value.  The consultation includes a one hour meeting with Michael Krintz - owner and landscape designer.

We can also include a very detailed project estimate that many other companies are unwilling to provide.  For an additional $60, Michael Krintz will develop a detailed sketch that clearly outlines the scope of your project.

2. Your portfolio looks great - when can you start?
We can typically begin a project within 4-6 weeks after our initial meeting. Please understand that the wait is simply caused by our ability to provide high quality service at very reasonable prices. This means that we will also take the time needed to do your project right and not take any shortcuts so we can move on to our next project more quickly.

Jobs are started in the order in which a contract and deposit are received. In the spring of the year, this can mean as long as 8 weeks from the initial meeting.

4. Our site has an area that is too shady to grow grass. What should I do?
Even shade tolerant grass varieties require some sunlight to become established. A mulched perennial or shrub bed with plantings that thrive in the shade may be more suitable for this area.
